Every year gambelâ�™s white crowned sparrows brains go threw a shrinking process. Were they limit the amount of testosterone sent to the sound forming parts of their minds controlling the tune of their songs. This was discovered by researchers at the university of California and Washington. The action is helping doctors find new ways to treat age related illnesses like Parkinsons and Dementia. The birds testosterone levels drop and it is apparent with in twelve hours. This gives an idea on how to at the least treat these diseases. Parkinsonâ�™s is where a group of cells in the Substantia Nigra die or malfunction. These cells purpose is to produce Dopamine which is used to send information to the area of the brain that control the movement and coordination of a person. People with this disease become partially impaired and over time become completely incapable of moving at all. Doctors say as men age there testosterone levels deplete causing brain cells and neurons to die. To think that a little sparrow can help save the life of millions of people is amazing in my opinion.

History

Luxembourg was founded in 963 by count Siegfried when he acquired the fortress of Lucilinburhuc from Saint Maximinius Abbey in Trier. The duchy flourished for nearly five hundred years in medieval Europe. The dynasty provided some of the leading figures of the â�œGerman Empireâ� threw out the 14 th century, but fell to Burundian domination in 1443. For the next 400 years the Spanish, French, and Austrian armies took turns stationing them selfâ�™s in the well fortified capital Luxembourg city until 1815 because of the fall of napoleoneans empire. Luxembourg finally gained their independence in 1839 when becoming a Grand-Duchy under Dutch ruling. But ironically was taken over by Germany in both world wars. Luxembourg joined NATO the year after they joined the Benelux Customs Union in 1948.

Fever kills more than 100 in the South Eastern Congo

On Tuesday the world health organization sent out an alert asking for more doctors and experts to come to the southern part of the Congo to help contain the out break of a feverâ�¦â�¦â�¦.

At least 167 people out 400 who have fallen ill to this unknown sickness have died over the past four months in the area surrounding Kinshasa, the capital. The illness has been described as a hemorrhagic fever, â�œ a Hemorrhagic fever is where multiple organ systems fail and the body becomes in impaired unable to repair its self there for not able to clot the blood because the fever also causeâ�™s internal hemorrhagingâ�. Samples of the fever have been tested and five of the forty tested ,have came back positive for the extremely rare an deadly V.H.F â�œviral hemorrhagic feverâ� Ebola . Ebola is passed threw direct contact with the blood or other bodily secretions of a infected person. The fever also causes a distinct form of vomit called black vomit which is filled with blood and the lining of the stomach and esophagus â�œthe black specks in the vomitâ�, the diseaseâ�™s has caused people to vomit so badly and roughly that it sloughs the top of the tongue off . In simple but blunt terms the person pretty much turns in to a water balloon because the organs begin to break down and the liver actually turns in to what has been describe as what is in the same texture of pudding or gel. It attacks the nervous system, along with causing bleeding from the ears, eyes â�œ also turning the iris redâ�, and other openings on the body â�œremember Ebola causes the blood to not be able to clotâ�œ. Most victims die 90% of the time from crashing â�œbleeding out or hemorrhagingâ�œ. Ebola does to u what takes 15 years for aids to do but does it in 10 to 15 days. Ebola can not be cured and is spread quickly and was only discovered in the mid 70â�™s it is very new and could have been caused by humans just like the aids virus which came from near the same part of Africa as the fever came from near Sudan or itâ�™s said to of. The last out break in America was actually not far from where I grew up at in Virginia.
